Sandra Opdycke won the 2020 DCHS Helen Wilkinson Reynolds Award for “pursuit of historical truth” and will speak to a subject she has studied and written about at both a national and local level. You’ll meet the individual women who emerged as leaders, and see the efforts against the backdrop of what or more generally known about national efforts.
