On Tuesday, March 29 at 7:00 pm, the Hyde Park Historical Society is relaunching its in-person events series with a talk by Dutchess County Historical Society Executive Director, Bill Jeffway, on the very recent expanded understanding of Hyde Park's New Guinea Community.
Established as a nationally listed historic site in 2019, our understanding of the community has expanded greatly in recent work done by DCHS for Black history month, and has continued to expand even in recent weeks.
We will hear the story about the community, and will hear about the recent discoveries and what may come in the future.

The talk will take place at the Hyde Park Methodist Church, parking the back. Masks may be required. Tuesday, March 29 at 7 pm.
