The collection contained assorted local history educational materials used by Franklin K. Butts in Poughkeepsie Schools. File 6 was originally item 8 in the collection. The original items 6 and 7 may have been the Holden Family Letters. These letters along with the 1775-1776 Amenia ledger were found near the Butts collection but these materials do not seem to have been related.
