Finding Aids 2

The collection consists of materials predominantly relating to the estate of Isaac Smith.. Most of the documents are related to legal and/or monetary transactions, such as deeds, mortgages, promissory notes, and relating letters. There are also 8 receipt books belonging to Isaac Smith, Platt Smith, and Philip Smith. The documents were either loose or grouped into 1 of 7 different bundles by an unknown party. The original ribbon tying these bundles together are also present with the documents.
