The collection consists of deeds, contracts, administrative records, correspondence and textual ephemera likely gathered by Alice Schenck Teller and her descendants. Most notably, the collection includes administrative records of seven companies serving in the American Revolution garrisoning the forts of the Hudson Highlands from 1776 until 1777. These records include payrolls, accounts of rations and mileage.
