Invisible People, Untold Stories

In a landmark article in the 1987 DCHS Yearbook, the late Lorraine M. Roberts and Professor Lawrence H. Mamiya wrote about local Black history with the heading Invisible People, Untold Stories.

It offers a positive guide to the future, making us think about what we choose to remember, and what we choose to forget.
